A didgeridoo.  :D

I got a "shop soiled" one of these, but in red, at a reduced price.

The cantankerous but occasionally useful member, formally known as 50ft-trad

Well this was kinda fun, getting the string around that way back corner was fun, taped a magnet to the string, pushed it with the yardstick all the way back then tapped it, then took something metal (a clamp) and got it to pull around the leg, the rest was easy, used the same magnet to add weight to the string so it would fall through the noodle, made to size and then just tied off..

What they look like, and I tossed a ball to see that they work (so far)
JR
I put pool noodles under my couches and a couple of other pieces of furniture to keep the cat toys out from under them but I just stuffed them in the openings and did nothing to secure them.  They've worked great for several years now.

This just came for me. :mail:
My insomnia had me looking at E-bay at 0400 last week and I caught a new listing for a new in box Swiss Tool X. He had a buy it now price of $75 or best offer, so I made an offer of $70 and it was accepted instantly.  Sometimes insomnia can be a good thing.
I don't think I gave anyone else a chance to even see it before I snapped it up. I just know one of you bastages would have had it by 9 AM if I hadn't. ;)  Anyway, the seller said he'd bought it around 2000 and it's been in a drawer ever since. They all say that, don't they?  My rule has always been to buy the tool, not the story, but it did come in the box with the black leather sheath (Velcro closure model) and the users guide. It is absolutely brand new.  Not a mark on it. I'm very happy with it so far.

Very nice, that was my first ever multitool bought around 2000 too, used to take it to work everyday, god knows where it is know.
Cost me £50.
My trouble is i never show initiative, but that's only because no one has told me to.

I got stuff! My plus yellows aren’t here yet but will be soon! There was a time 2 weeks ago I thought a real sak should be red. But the yellow! (Honestly all scales are awesome!)

I understand the appreciation for the traditional-ness of red, but I’ve never been a big fan of red so frequently went in other directions.  The different scales are what really got me back into SAKs.  Now if I see scales I really like, I start imagining what knife I think they would go best on.  Unfortunately, this has led to the purchase of a few Tinkers that will not probably not see use.

A red letter Swisstool just like Alan's.  It came complete with the corkscrew and bits, so we're ready for everything!  I put the bit and ratchet to use a few weeks back on an Eagle Scout project that my son and I were helping on.  It really does work for 99% of what you run into.

Yup...keeping most of my collection the classic red, but having some fun with a few models I carry more often. Really pleased I could get some genuine yellow scales which is why I bought 3 sets...

Got a new belt/disc sander. My old belt sander died in a blaze of glory last week.

Already put it to good use and made some wood scales for one of Handyman'

My second Rebar and first Blast came in as well:

Both in pretty good condition. The Rebar was pretty messed up, but it cleaned up nicely. Might have to work on it again though

My two most recent.  Both sets of scales started life on Tinkers, now on Ranger and Woodsman.

One of my favorites is the WWP now on my Yeoman
