Also, this is an odd one, but a scrap booking kit with hammer, punch, and various tweezers is also invaluable. It is one of my most commonly used toolkits. If you don’t already have them, get some super-small Torx and Alan wrench kits.

Thanks.  I know it will be trial and error and when/if  I do take on this hobby it'll be fun to get them back into service.

I'll check if my dad has one....(piano tuning wrench) and/or whether it fits our piano. Evidently there are two types of wrenches, and each piano uses either one or the other. This one is star shaped like a giant torx screw. My dad made one once, I think, to tune the piano in our family....now we have one, and he and mom got rid of theirs a while ago. My kids play some. My oldest son is a highly intuitive musician, and can play the piano by ear, as well as understanding music theory. Other kids play it more or less.

Amazon did some crazy same day delivery of the Hydro Ice Cube molds, so I got to test them already.  A medium Hydro Ice cube will fit in an 18oz Yeti Rambler bottle with the bottle straw cap.  It's not as easy as screwing on a different lid, because the straw and the ice cube are both moving while you turn the lid, but it works.  12 hours later, there is still a small piece of ice and the water is still very cold.  If you're at home or work where you can refill the bottle, that's great.  The problem with a smaller volume bottle is how much liquid the large ice cube displaces.  For a hike, I'd make a smaller cube, or not let it freeze solid.

Dang that was quick, that’s what I was worried about, whether it would fit and if it did you'd have to spin the ice around with the if it was a smaller bottle,, on the plus side the ice is going to want to kinda stand upright so it will always be along the straw thus keeping it cooler,, :dunno:

Mrs says a box showed up on the front porch this morning at like 7:30, that’s like a new record for us, I don’t think we’ve ever gotten anything every before 11am, only thing was the Mrs couldn’t bring it in because it was 50lbs, even though all she had to was like think wheel and just keep tipping the box over to the next side :dunno: ,, anyway, we got the cats a little something for once even though it will go with a little remodel we’re doing so we both make out, now the only the fun part, I gotta turn that box into that tree! This should be fun!
