Given the sucess of my bladeless PST mods,the KST , I thought,what about a bladeless Sideclip? The Sideclip is a great pocket carry,and if you could replace the blade with scissors...?

Well,here's phase 1 complete

Contrary to the original plan,I used modern Wave type scissors,rather than the PST2 type I thought I'd use. I'd tried test fitting modern type LM tools into a beater PST chassis. While they do lock,the drivers lock at an obtuse angle. However this actually works to the scissors advantage,as you can see in the picture above.

The next phase is to change out the small flat driver for the the thinner PST one

What a great idea. The sideclip is such a slim carry LM and now with scissors
