Ok, was in a modding mood again and came up with a “Compact Cybertool Voyager”, really would like to have a better name so feel free to help me rename. Always been a fan of the gray scales of the voyager, but not happy with climber tool set so this is my answer. Curious what you guys think.
It's a Cocybo!

Nice work! It’s part traveller/voyager and cybertool, so it could be a cyber traveller? Looks like a good edc! :like: :like:

Cyber Traveler it is  :tu:, thanks for the input guys. Have a couple old champ models laying around so I might make one of Poncho's master rangers next.

That sounds like fun! Glad you like the name - I couldn’t come up with one for my own mod a while back, but someone here came up with a good one!

Can you tell I like Cybertools? :P

The green one is my EDC. It's seen better days... the ruby one on the right was actually bought as a replacement but it turned out I just like my old one too much

Somehow I keep buying more and then selling them and/or giving them away. It's madness! MADNESS!

Thank you Couillon!

A pretty colourful group, right? Strange, I usually don't like colours except orange :P

Yes! I remember first time I saw the translucent scales, it was on a CT.  I have not seen a unappealing factory color on the series yet.

Which one do you like best? :)

That translucent black would look great on a Cybertool as well, I think :tu:

Judging from the photo, I like brown and dark green best. I am sure translucent black would look great on a CT - imo black scales work best on them on account of the black elements in the Cybertool layer.

Wow, you have some of the early colors too! The translucent black would look great!
I'm partial to the first issue colors, there was a lot of variation in color, from run to run.
This is my wife's CT 41,  circa 2002-2004 thereabouts. I really like the hue of the early scales.

:iagree: I am all about the translucent black and brown. Have a 41 with the black and 34 with the brown. Two of my favorites.

I actually just picked up a Climber with these light blue scales as part of a batch of 5 I got (for the 84mm Climber). I hadn't seen them before so wondered if they were just really faded Sapphire scales.

Congrats on the batch of 5
And yes, the scales from that time period have more of a tint , than really deep colors.

In some cases the colour differences are caused by UV light, or so it seems. I'm not 100% sure though. But the two onyx ones in that group pic I just posted used to differ quite a lot from each other. One of them was a lot darker and less reddish.

Do not think I have showed you guys this one. Before I started mods I bought this Victorinox Swissbianco CyberYeoman. Probably paid too much, but I am really liking it now that I have some decent titanium plus scales on it. What do you guys think?

I've modded my CyberTool 41 (pre 2005) with beautiful wooden plus scales made by crackerjack-plus.
Further moddings:
- lanyard from a Hunter Pro Alox
- orange tweezers with mm scale from a Garant knife
- Neodym magnet stored in the can opener, as proposed by Felix Immler
- magnifying glass stored beneath the bit holder, as proposed by McStitchy
So I've managed to integrate my two most-wanted tools from the SwissChamp and the CyberTool Lite into my CyberTool 41: the magnifying glass and the mm/cm scale.

I recently acquired my first cybertool -34. And what a great tool it is! I was contemplating 29 and 34 and I am glad I pick the 34! Already used the pliers in my office! I am sorry now I did not go the full size of 41.

Decided to make a TSA compliant Bladeless Cybertool Lite. Extra parts and too much time on my hands after Thanksgiving.
