Gonna carry my new to me Schrade 165OT.  Its heavy but makes sense for what it was designed for.  The blade shape is sexy AF.  Persian inspired .  I'm not sure if that would be correct but the upswept tip is nice regardless.

The schrade 165 is a great fixed blade. Glad you scored one.   :tu:   It appears to be in good shape. It's also one of Roberts favorites. Maybe your posting yours will lure him in when he feels better.   :)
What? Enablers! Are you serrrrious? Where? I dont see any.

Thank you.  I do hope he's feeling better as I'd love to see him posting pics.  It was a joy to carry today.  I am really liking the older sheaths.  They sure did make them well and they fit the knife terrifically.

Thank you! It's also good I didnt have to wait 5 years or pay secondary prices for it. My brother had it and decided to sell it. He knew I'd want it so he made me an offer I couldnt refuse.  :D

I think I showed the addition to my Izula sheath?  Just a couple scrap pieces of leather so I can wear this excellent knife on my belt.

I'll pick up some screws after a little more testing.  I am liking carrying it this way tho.  Used artificial sinew which is pretty tuff.  I'm sure I can find some decent hardware locally.

Been carrying this for a few days now. I like the way my sheath is breaking in so far.

I got to find more out on this, there’s no stamps, I think it belonged to one of the older kids friends and he really doesn’t want it yet the Mrs kinda likes it because of the symbol at the end since it matches her tv show “charmed” must say very comfy grip, just very big!

I like the sheath.  :tu:
Maybe it’s a re- enactment piece. Looks like something a viking re-enactor would have.

Chicago screws at your local hardware stores will work well.
