Is it an attractive knife, does it feel natural on the hand? No. But boy it cuts through a chicken carcass, plus it's ok to remove play-doh of the garden table. (Mora Companion SS).

Curious, would Falkniven send a sheath?  My partners Gerber fixed blade sheath broke and she messaged them and lo and behold they send a sheath no questions asked.
Checked the Fallkniven website and they sell the zytel slip/neck sheath separately 22SEK or $3.45 AUD. Maybe the store can get one.

Still carrying my GEC fixed blade.  The patina is really coming along.  I would have liked a little more belly but its worked great in the kitchen and for random things around the house.  I added a small bit of gorilla duct tape on the inside snap to stop it from scratching the blade unnecessarily.

:iagree: and nice sheath too.
Thanks!  The sheath is actually one of the reasons I bought this knife.  I really am not a fan of plastic (or any other type) sheaths, and really only like leather ones.  I think leather just looks more classy.  I love the look of wood handles too, so as soon as I saw this knife at Bass Pro, I had to have it, lol.

I also appreciate the look of leather as it ages.  Those wood handles are nice.  The coating holds up really well.  I've used mine and its no worse for wear.  I added this leather belt loop to the standard sheath.  I like to carry this knife at 2 with the handle inward so I can retrieve with my left hand.

A bit of time on the strop and these get hair popping sharp.

Glad to hear about the coating, I was wondering how it would hold up. :tu:  Good idea adding the leather belt loop!
