Had my Rat 3 on my hip today, but took it off as it kept catching on the seatbelt latch on the forklift.

Just got this from Nix. It is marked Wissahickon after the town in Pennsylvania where it was made but I don't know if it has a name or model number or what it is made of.  Maybe Nix will remember that info.  It is not as heavy as it looks, but the handle is rather wide.  It is comfortable to use but a little awkward to carry, but that is just a first impression after only a few hours of carry.

Had my Rat 3 on my hip again today.  It's a perfect EDC size (for me anyway), and I don't even notice it there.

Day one with my new to me Bushcrafter.  I added some orange cord which I am really fond of the days.  I'm adding it to more and more as I like the pop it gives.

Not a bad first day with the Bushcrafter.  Knives on me especially fixed blade knives must be up for any task.  With the amount of deliveries we get we end up with a lot of boxes and the city only picks up recycling every 3rd week.  We have to break down all boxes to fit our smallish trash can.  I also needed to chop this plant back since it grows crazy if not.  My apple tree branches are dried then used for my smoker or burnt in my patio fire pit.  I wanted to break some down for fun and need.

This knife handled each chore with ease.  Very comfy in hand and not a bad size.  Next up will be some kitchen prep work as I also like to use all fixed bladed in my kitchen regardless if thats what they were meant for.

The color on the handles is so pretty I am instantly in love.  I'm gonna use this knife till the edge no longer easily cuts then see how to go about getting it back.

I will try my first method which will be stropping then I'll go from there.  It came ready so I didn't do anything to the edge.

Carried the Bushcrafter yesterday.  I love using any and all fixed blades I get in the kitchen. Some perform great while others roles are best suited elsewhere.  This knife did a very good job on chicken.  Not too surprised and fun to do.

I got a 50ft length of it a little while ago.  I always use bright cordage on my out door gear ( yellow or neon green ) but this orange is very nice.  I've replaced nearly all my lanyards with it.  I only have a little left and theres some items I still want lanyards for  :D.

How you enjoying that RAT?

I love it!  Sometimes I think it's a tad on the small side, but it carries sooooooo damn nice, and it is nicer to use than a folder or MT with the same size (or close to) blade.
