The Hunt'N Fisch has been a favorite of mine for many years.  It never gets mentioned when the You Tubers talk about EDC fixed blades, or in catalogs and websites when you are searching under the "EDC fixed blades" category.  You have to find it under hunting knives, and that is not giving it the exposure it deserves. I especially like it because it doesn't look all tactical and stabby.  In fact, I think it looks cheerful.  Pull this out in the lunchroom to cut your sandwich in half and you're not going to have people jumping out of their chairs. If you're considering it, get one.

I don't change my EDC fixie as often as I used to because there's so many of them now that it is difficult to choose. So, I stood in front of the pile and thought for a few moments about what I hadn't carried in a while and figured the Izula II was due for a turn. It really is a great carry.

Today I harvested and prepared a pineapple from my yard using the Izula II.  There are 4 more pineapples in my yard but 3 of them are only the size of baseballs and don't seem to be getting any bigger.  :dunno:

It is just a different wrap.  I had switched to green for the May Greenie Challenge, but decided to change again after.

Must have been a trick of the lighting. I really thought it looked black.  Nice job on the wrap in any case. Do you use the paracord as it comes off the spool or do you pull the internal strands out and just use the cover?

DPX H.E.S.T., PowerPint, and Swiss Champ.  I would not be able to carry the HEST without my modified full flap sheath, but it's still not quite right and I'm not sure what else I could do with it. :dunno:

It is black and I do have 2 ATKs, but I didn’t think I had posted a picture of the standard one on here recently because it usually lives in my backpack.

As far as the wrap, I gut the paracord so that it is still able to click into the kydex sheath.

This morning was slightly cooler in the morning!

Walked my homestead this morning and eliminated as many suckers that were sprouting from my trees that could be reached. About 7’ off the ground via my reach and still maintain balance (I Zm 6’3”😊)

This little fella works like a dream shaving the sprouts
[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

A quick stropping, returned the blade slicey dicey!!!

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Myerchin 1st generation rigging knife but only because I needed to cut some stuff in the yard and my mini trapper that I'm carrying for the Dean51 challenge was too short to do the job.

Still carrying a rotation of traditional folders as my primary knife this month per the Dean51 challenge, but I felt the need to carry a fixed blade knife today as well.  The Wissahickon Critter is a good general-purpose carry.

Just arrived in today's mail.  Real Steel Furrier Harpoon in N690, with olive wood scales and a leather, horizontal carry sheath that also fits easily in a pocket. The handle geometry isn't quite right for my large hands. I can use the ring to pull it out of the sheath, but I can't use it with my pinky in the ring.  Looking forward to putting it through its paces during the October fixed blade challenge.   https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,94128.0.html

My latest - Darlington Edgecraft Sugar
Took a chance on a new knifemaker and am really happy.
3in blade is a nice length for carry and the 3.5in handle is tight but just long enough for a 4 finger grip.
