The Hunt'N Fisch has been a favorite of mine for many years. It never gets mentioned when the You Tubers talk about EDC fixed blades, or in catalogs and websites when you are searching under the "EDC fixed blades" category. You have to find it under hunting knives, and that is not giving it the exposure it deserves. I especially like it because it doesn't look all tactical and stabby. In fact, I think it looks cheerful. Pull this out in the lunchroom to cut your sandwich in half and you're not going to have people jumping out of their chairs. If you're considering it, get one.
Still carrying the CRKT Hunt'N Fisch but will probably change that tomorrow.
I don't change my EDC fixie as often as I used to because there's so many of them now that it is difficult to choose. So, I stood in front of the pile and thought for a few moments about what I hadn't carried in a while and figured the Izula II was due for a turn. It really is a great carry.
Buck 113 Ranger and ThruNite T1.
Nice oneDecisions, Decisions The 113 is one of my favorite fixie. Right up there with the ATK
Another ATK, and in black too. Great job on the wrap. Love it.
Must have been a trick of the lighting. I really thought it looked black. Nice job on the wrap in any case. Do you use the paracord as it comes off the spool or do you pull the internal strands out and just use the cover?
This morning was slightly cooler in the morning!Walked my homestead this morning and eliminated as many suckers that were sprouting from my trees that could be reached. About 7’ off the ground via my reach and still maintain balance (I Zm 6’3”😊)This little fella works like a dream shaving the sprouts [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] A quick stropping, returned the blade slicey dicey!!!
Happy Independence Day friends 🧨🎆🤠
Still carrying a rotation of traditional folders as my primary knife this month per the Dean51 challenge, but I felt the need to carry a fixed blade knife today as well. The Wissahickon Critter is a good general-purpose carry.
