Cheers. I don't really like it. Not because it's a bad knife but because it isn't suited to what I do.

It is too thick for the length. Doesn't do small jobs well, doesn't do big jobs well. It is a good wedge.

Even with hollow handles it does not. Neither did the kydex sheath.

Even Crocodile Dundee would call that a knife!
How is it to use?

I tend to go auto pilot when playing with knives. Next time I use it I'll report how it behaves.  :)

Taking a trip back 10 years and making use of this knife today.  It's a Cudeman with olive wood scales and 440 steel blade.  This was my first 'bushcraft' type knife and, I have to admit, I'd forgotten how good it is.  A lot of folks (myself included) got very worked up about 'mere' 440, but this knife takes a fantastically sharp edge and holds it pretty well.  The sheath isn't my favourite, but it does the job well enough.  Might have to find myself a bit of leather and make a replacement.

Yup, looks like a MOD style survival knife.  Some folks really don't like them, but I'm a fan. :tu:

Is that the HEST? I like the look of it, but have told myself no more carbon steel blades  ::) I have way too many that don't get enough use as it is

I do like that knife. A good reliable companion by the looks of it. I don't mind the blade steel at all, and would rather have that than one of the supersteels  :tu:

Nice one Paul. I like my MOD knife, but hate the leather sheath. Can't understand why they put the keep loop so far up the handles. I don't like how far the knife can slide out with the loop closed.
