I have one of those. I never use it, but can't bring myself to part with it either. I feel it's like a solution looking for a problem, but I don't want to get rid as I know that's when the problem will finally arise  :D

I'm going for a little walk in the forest later. I will be taking my Cold Steel Trailmaster and Rifleman's hawk.
Yeah...that'll do it. Been carrying both over 20 years

Initial thoughts are 'Where's the damn awl? What's the point of a knife with no awl?'

It's a good size, the Micarta scales are comfy, nice sheath. I will test it over the weekend - I have a Gandalf stick to finish off, and I'll report my findings.

Lovely RAT Mags.  The size is nice.  I do wish the sheath had better carry options.

Ta Aloha

It came with some bits for different attachment options, but I'll probably just wear it strapped across my naked chest on a bandolier.

Nice one Luke. They are a nice size knife. I've never owned one, but have been able to handle a couple of RAT knives. The only reason I never took the plunge, was wanting then getting something comparable performance wise from a local maker.  :)

So far I'm very happy with my Bob (except the Shango notch). It's Stout enough to batton but still able to do fine work.

November 1 seems like a good day to carry a fixed blade.  Although the sheath has a small Tek Lok, I don't mind toting the knife in a front pocket...
