Nice looking knife.
Quote from: David on November 16, 2016, 07:40:01 PMNice looking knife. I agree. Been thinking a long time about an ESEE-3, and I really like the look of that blade/handle combo. The internal battle continues: Must resist....but what's one more knife?

Been thinking a long time about an ESEE-3, and I really like the look of that blade/handle combo. The internal battle continues: Must resist....but what's one more knife? Its a great knife! One of my favorite fixed blades and a great slicer even with the coating. The one thing I will say is that the micarta handle scales will darken as soon as you touch them. They are extremely responsive to any type of oil from your hands so dont expect to keep that cool contrasting desert tan look on the scales. But hey, looks come second to functionality, and it is a great little fixed blade. I wouldnt hesitate to get another one if i needed to.The first picture is not mine, but is how it looked when I got it, the second is it now, and I cleaned the scales back to the original color last month and yes, the difference really is that drastic. I only carry it maybe twice a week too, although I am starting to more.(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)
