Boulder and the Rockies. The snowy mountains in the background are the Indian Peaks Wilderness along the Continental Divide. A half-dozen peaks over 13,000 feet there.

a few shots from some of my outdoor adventures near my home in Portland, Oregon, USA...

a view of Mt. Hood from the middle of Trillium Lake... this is one of my favorite spots to go camping. (This is also the mountain that Leatherman uses in some of their images/logos.)


a view of the Columbia River Gorge from a hiking trail on the Oregon side of the river


a view of Mt. Rainier from the top of Mt. St. Helens. :D

That looks familiar.  I have some family in Cincinnati, and, while it has been a few years ago, I have been to that museum.
