Metalheads Unite
on: June 06, 2008, 05:28:28 PM
In about an hour and a half, new member Whoey's wife will be on the air with her metal oriented radio Show, which is also broadcast on TotalRock in the UK.

If you want to check it out, and I suggest you do if you like real heavy metal music, go to www.sexto9.com and look for the streaming audio link.

If you can't find that, try this one:

http://www.sexto9.com/live.m3u

If you missed it and want more info, contact sexto9@gmail.com for the next show time!

The sexto9 link is only live during the show, you can also tune in via www.totalrock.com although our link is not as compressed as theirs, and they broadcast 24/7

You can request directly to Maria via maria@sexto9.com or maria@totalrock.com even if you don't have a request, you can also drop her an email just to say hello, as she likes to hear from her listeners.

Old school fans beware, she typically plays a lot of melodic death. In Flames, Scar Symmetry, Soilwork, Opeth, Arch Enemy, etc... so if that's your bag, join in the fun. Even if it isn't you're bound to hear something new and interesting during the show.

Oh and if you're lucky you might hear some of my lame-o Canadian accent in the last hour, eh.

Venom had one song, Women, Leather and Hell that took up one whole side of a cassette...

But I guess that "Old School" warning was for the other Canadian accent around here! :P

Still, tell your metalhead friends to check it out- it's a great show!

I think you're thinking Monster Magnet - TAB

most Opeth tracks are in the 10min range... nothing wrong with that...
