You'll have to do like Monrogue and have certain days of the week you carry such and such.  I think that was Monrogue?

 Sounds like you need to increase tension just a little bit on the plier side that breaks down to easily  :salute: unless of course it has the dreaded cracked frame :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

And the scissors  sorry can't help if you dont like the design  :D

Is it a special tool for the pivot? It has been years since I did the mod.

I have done it several times now, so it is fairly easy at this point  but better than telling you, I can show you :woohoo: This is a video on that very question that I made last year :tu: The AL version in the video is now the G10 you see in my latest pic  I swapped scales and went for Tti pivots instead of the knurled fasteners otherwise the mod is the exact same :salute:

I finally had the time to watch this video - awesome guide  :tu:

Have you ever tried to put any tools on the plier pivot?

Since you have to drill them bigger to match the plier pivot, I haven't  :dunno: but I have a glass breaker that I am willing to put there and perhaps just a little bit of a tool swap around as well :salute:

And thanks for watching :hatsoff:

It is possible, but the springs used in that end to keep the knife blade from opening when the pliers are deployed make it a little aggravating to work out.

Very cool, Adam!  Do you have any closeup pics showing how the plier-side tools are mounted?  I think that would be a perfect spot for a good pry bar.

In my first knife, I put a Rev Phillips driver that I turned into an awl in the plier end:

I reshaped the pivot end of the awl so that it would fit and so the backsprings would provide some detent when the awl is opened. I am fairly happy with how turned out.

In the second knife, I installed a large flat driver from a Surge and a LM can opener:

In both cases, I installed a thick washer so that the tools sat over the backsprings.

For those who don't know, the 2 above Rebars are color swapped, the first one also has all its normal tools plus scissors, a diamond file and a Kick pocket clip

The other is just a color swap

Hello!

Just wondering if it’s possible to get one of the Loki tools over in the UK? And also is there a list anywhere of what widths all the tools are so it’s easy to work out what would fit in any tool handle without having to buy and trial yourself?

Thanks!

Better to ask questions and see what type of tools you are modding  The Loki wrenches are a bit harder to get these days because of the current situation in the world with Russia :dunno:

A lot of the mods you are thinking of may have already been done and we have plenty of modders and plenty of people to answer questions

You can start a thread about what you are wanting to mod either here (if it is Leatherman based) or in the Mod Squad sub forum :tu:
