I'm not expecting this to catch on ::)

This is my work beater and gets used a lot. I reprofiled it short lamb/sheep's foot style due to "sheeple" issues. Irish knife law is very restrictive and alot of times boils down to the cops judgement call. Having the least offensive looking blade possible might be a mitigating factor.
Other issue is the blade won't stick me in the palm again and it's a dead simple shape to sharpen.

Looks great.   :tu:   :like:

As a second blade in a modded tool, I could use it as I do the small blade in a SAK: package opening, etc.

Definitely a great mod :salute: If it helps make life easier on you by making it more legal then that is awesome :woohoo: :like:

Cheers guys
My job setting wouldn't be knife friendly and I work with a lot of females. A pointy blade would cause alarm  irrespective of my need for one in my job.
Ps had a good laugh at "making that mod by accident"!
My bond tends to leave the point proud quite easily too so I'm not missing it after it stuck me once.

I spy a scissors, that's a mod I want to do for sure. The rebar is such a complete package and a scissors would improve it.
I tried to put an old og wave scissors in my pst/sideclip but the small tab that provides springbtension was not a match and the Jaws were slack
I must track down spares of that gen for transplant!

Scissors are definitely a must for a Rebar and they should be included IMO but they don't ask me really  :D

It also has a diamond file, Kick clip and color swapped handles

Again, a minor mod but one that eluded me. I wanted a scissors on my sideclip but hadn't realised I needed the stepped spacer washer for it work. Prior to this I was resigned to thinking they were just a mismatch.

The only challenge was ensuring the central gap between the handles did not align with the narrow spring tab or it jams between. I used a thin washer to offset it from doing this.
Delighted with this tool now. The diamond file despite being cut down to fit gets used a lot and the custom mini bit driver and my fave mini bits in the back pocket makes this is a potent light tool for me.  ;)
Oh, and a small neodymium magnet and a pin onboard too are dead useful.

I finished my half-Wingman.  :tu:   I've been wanting to do this with a Charge for a while now, but the Wingman that I used to scavenge scissors was a perfect opportunity for a half-Leatherman.  It was a pretty straight-forward mod - I just used the Wingman's parts... there was just enough washers to fill up the ex-plier pivot.   The only trick was removing the plate in the handle that works (somehow) with the pliers.  I had to buy cobalt drill bits to drill out the rivet so I could remove the plate enabling the handle tools to fit there.

That saw on PST2 looks very aggressive, was it hard to mod that saw to fit?

Thanks Rich :hatsoff: the blade was already broken and I just gave it the profile it has and worked on it until it fit beside the pliers

It is aggressive  8) I could have left the extra bot on it from the spine that I ground off and it would have still fit but it didn't take much to grind the pivot end down to fit :salute: it was a SOG saw that was rebranded to Harley Davidson
