great idea for a club -- I wanna play too! :D

my ReCharge was the first mod I ever did, and it's gone through plenty of changes (including cerakoting!) since the original plier head swap. :)
(Image removed from quote.)

this "skinny Charge" has been a terrific office EDC for me the past few months. :tu:
(Image removed from quote.)

my modded Wave also got the cerakote treatment... I love this color, and I'm really happy with the way it turned out.
(Image removed from quote.)

this Wave was a restoration project, but turned into a mod of sorts. ;)
(Image removed from quote.)

I've got some smaller mods as well (Style CS/PS platform), but apparently I still need to take some pics of those. And I've got a couple more that are either planned or currently in progress... :D

on that green wave, a). is the awl from the rebar and b). did take any grinding down to fit or is does it fit nicely without any grinding?

yes, it's a Rebar awl, and yes, it requires grinding, but only if you want the tool to close all the way. the grinding is fairly minor -- here's a pic comparing it to a stock Rebar awl.

Good point but the wrong request.  The key is the locking bar.  Not sure from which tool but not Rebar.

I'm not sure what you mean by wrong request.

This is the view I was after, I already know that he used a Fuse pivot and lock.

I didn't know that though I could see in the top view pic provided in response to your request  :pok: that it wasn't Rebar.

Just happen to have spent a lot of time today adjusting the loadout of my Knifeless Rebar to fill the gap resulting from it losing its ex-Wave scissors to Wingman and became aware of the locking bar fit and clearance issues.

Pic to follow.

Sorry I misread your request  so I didn't understand why you picked up on my response  and went by the pic which didn't show evidence of how much wider it was.

So I have been thinking about my Wave and how it will be modded.

Rebar pliers and Awl going on to it for sure. Want to get rid of the small bit driver and maybe add some outside scissors from a SAK.

Removing the scissors and mini driver leaves an empty spot. Any idea of what I could use to fill it?

Micra Tweezers would be cool, if the hole can be modified?

Small flat driver from the Rebar. Very useful little screwdriver/mini pry tool/pokey thing.

Right that could work.

Was thinking I could go whole hog and rock the Rebars 3D Phillips. Wonder if there would be enough room adding the 3D Phillips and Awl while dropping just the small driver and scissors?

If you're going to take all the tools from a Rebar to put in a Wave, why not just put scissors on your Rebar?
