Pulse

Hello Fellow collectors, hoarders, OCD,

The flea was good this morning. Clear, warm, and two dealers had MTs for me (they claim I am the only buyer interested in old odd tools}. I got this Pulse, w/issues. I believe the broken  tool is a small screwdriver. One thumb lock is missing, though the interior mechanism is there. I will check with the Leatherman repair department in the morning. I will insist MY tool returned, good or bad, and not a current production model.

Jim

I'm guessing they would send a Rebar back in its place otherwise... but in your case, I hope they're able to fix it for ya! :tu:

Whether they fix it, or just return it, I am happy with the purchase, my admission to the heretofore restricted "Pulse Owners Club".

Interesting successful ending. I sent my 12-02/12-02 Pulse for repair. I clearly indicated I wanted it returned, repaired if possible, not replaced. The damage, as found, was extensive: broken screw driver, missing thumb latch, broken plier tip. However it was a Pulse and I wanted to make sure I didn't get Rebar in place. What I did get; a "new" 11-00/10-00 Pulse. Thank you Leatherman.

Wow! Very interesting turn of events that I have rarely heard of something like this happening through Leatherman.  :tu:
