I'm liking this coin purse idea more and more. Then I could actually carry all the bits. Hmmm  :P

Problem with the coin purse is that the bits will get all jumbled up, so finding the right one will be a pain.

Anyone else want Leatherman to make a double-sided bit card?
My EDC:
Leatherman Skeletool   Led Lenser P3 AFS P
Leatherman Style CS    "Fauxton"
Sharpie Twin Tip           Bic Mini

A 2-sided bit card is a great idea but more so they need to make their sheath hold it. I can only fit one card in my rebar sheath forcing me to choose my most likely 10 needed.

The new sheaths for the Surge kinda suck. The older ones had a place for the bit card and one for the saw and file. New ones don't. Just for the file and saw or the bit card.

I used to carry both bit cards in my Skinth but anymore I only carry one, I find I never really use the posidrive or metric hex. Leatherman should give you the option though.

Thanks Nate!

In regards to the jumbled bits, my frequency of use is pretty low so I don't mind. I think we can all agree that a phillips driver is most popular, and for that I am always loaded and ready to go. Even though I don't use the bits all that often, I do like having them, and I especially like having them comfortably disappear into my (bag-less) EDC, which I could never seem to do when they were in those stiff bit cards.

I'm having trouble locating your exact change wallet. Can I ask where to buy them?

Thanks!

Search Ebay for "leather rose coin purse" and you should be set! :tu:

fact is, I don't EDC my bit kit, I only take them along if I have reason to believe I'm gonna need them.  The stock +/- Skeletool bits and the long shank thin phillips/eyeglass driver of the Style series does me well.

One problem is that Allens come in metric and standard sizes, so they have to include so dang many of them in the kit.  Also, I have never seen a Pozidriv screw in real life.

I got a the bit adaptor in the mail today. I'm going to pair it with a rebar and the 1/4 bits I normally carry.

I'd use the leatherman bits but I use my bits in a drill and the leatherman bits can't handle the torque.
