I'd gladly post tresponses to pms here but i think it to be a private matter.  I'd do an exhaustive search of a persons selling history BEFORE chucking rocks

Having done over 30,000 usd in sales last year i think one slip up is tolerable.

The money was refunded and 2 sets of scales were shipped for free.   I've gone pretty much to the extreme to rectify this problem.  I believe the op should be very happy in the end.

I personally think in the end Rick made everything right and everyone should be square and happy now. Hope all is well and slip ups do happen from time to time.

I agree with the captain

he made good on his end if the deal.

I also think he should have kept in contact.

this topic made me go through my old pms and I think i might still own a gentleman 15.00 I totally forgot about.

we all screw up.

making our mistakes right is sometimes hard but is always the right thing to do.

That's not right either. I always try to leave feedback for members I've dealt with.

You did right by my books by making sure the OP was taken care of in the end, and I'll have no problems dealing with you in the future if the chance ever comes up.

Well if it makes you feel better, I've been here since 2010 and only have one feedback high five. And that was when I gifted something.

I feel you think you've been wronged here but I don't believe that's the case. Terry has been trying to get in touch with you for 8 weeks through PMs and email and only resorted to this thread when all that failed while all the time this could have peen resolved within a minute with one simple PM.

Anyways, you made a boo boo, but corrected it now and I think we can leave it at that. :hatsoff:

Maybe you should switch on the option to "Show a popup when I receive new messages." to avoid such things in the future. That way you'll be notified about any new PMs.

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming ...

:D

This scenario  here is exactly why I'm reluctant to ever sell on this forum. I'll buy all day, every day no problem. But to have the responsibility  from door to door often covering half the globe is not one I personally wish to undertake any time soon - especially when we are all so fanatical in the first place - lol

I purchased from RickinFL last November - RickinFL kept me upto speed all the way.

I know from personal experiences here on MT'o how single events/comments can VERY quickly turn into a witch hunt. It isn't nice.

Hope this blows over and gets forgotten real quick.

I think some PM's wouldn't go amiss here.

Best wishes to everyone  :tu:

I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

Everyone makes mistakes. I know I sure do and always hope others will forgive me. I feel he's more than made good on this and in my estimate sounds like a pretty good fella.

Cheers rickinFL

Agreed.  I think if anyone has any other grievances, they should probably take it to PMs for the time being.

Also, positive feedback for RickinFL will be better served in a new thread, rather than being buried in all this negativity.

If I might make a suggestion, modify the title to add "[Positive Resolution]" so that folks who happen to read this thread will know immediately that the issue has been satisfactorily resolved before they read the thread.
