I love it.  While I go thru my own processes of what I'll carry recently I've decided I'll carry things JUST because I like them.  No intended purpose from the outset other than I enjoy this item.  While that means some days I'll have 3 items that in days past I would deem redundant its no bother in todays thinking.

"Do you do always what is needed and never what is pleasing?" KK.

I don't carry a bag typically BUT I did put together one with a few items I always debated carrying simply due to pocket space.  Its a fairly small bag with items that I like and certainly useful.  One knife will do thats for sure.  Having so many wonderful knives I always felt its was less about choosing the BEST option and more about WHICH knife to carry.  Goodness I couldn't or shouldn't carry TWO knives and certainly not redundant items.

My setup gradually becomes more "Victorinox"-nized.
I keep the 3 elements.
1. The knife, which is an OHO Sentinel now.
2. The toolbox, which is the Shield, were the Squirt gave its place to the whistle and there is a Boye knife hanging opposite the Skeletool. I will probably replace the card with something else in the future. There are the XLT, the Swiscard, the Watchopener, the nailclip, 4 Victorinox tools, and also full size tweezers, needles, sharpener etc in that compact seath.
3. The wallet, which is the Toolet, with an Executive (that's the one tool used daily), lighter, pens, pencil, bandaid, sewing kit, diamond rod, the Recta compass/ruler etc.
6 Victorinox tools in total, plus 2 from other makers and lots of accessories.
Since I work 9:00-23:00, I feel very nice to have so many of my toys with me.

Nice use of Skinths as well.  Its hard not to carry a Victorinox.  Paring them makes perfect sense as well so multiple Victorinox happens.  Nice kits.

Now my bag has its own ABC Clock in matching color. Easily readable on the go and removable.
Oh, how much I like to play! I feel 40 years younger.

And an ugly duckling as an ornament, stating the bag's mentality.

I have always said if its not fun ( this gear hobby ) then I should probably stop.  Its been one heck of a fun time and continues to be.  Even when we rediscover gear or rearrange gear we have.

Thanks. It's not just fun, it's very practical, the best smal bag I ever had. Better than the ones Victorinox makes now (very small) and the National Geographic I had before (nice but very bad threading). It looks "tactical", people ask me if I am a climber or something and I was worried I would look like a policeman. But I made it a bit funnier and the Victorinox pin is there for the enjoyment of my eyes. And insanely strong fabric and sewing, I can't believe how this costs just 30 euros.

I never forget about the practical side of our hobby  :tu:.  Always nice to find a bag that works so well.  You've been thru some so you know what you're looking for.

Very nice set up! The Suunto Core is my carry watch on days I want to wear one, how are you liking it and liking the bag carry? I imagine the bag carry makes the thermometer much more practical"

I like the Suunto Core very much and used it daily for years, until I got a Smarsmurfch. But I wished I could still use both. And, voila, I found the way to use them both.
This way the thermo is accurate. Compass readings are easy also. I only loose the depth meter function, but I don't dive anyway.
Generally, the Suunto is smarter and perhaps more accurate than my Casio ProTrek. It is flatter and very pretty, in a classical and masculine way. So I could wear it even in suit.
The Casio is more robust, much easier to read (very high contrast, good backlight) and the compass with the second layer is perfect. But it has a military style and it is tall, impossible to use with cufflinks and out of place in a wedding or a congress.
I used to hung my Casio from the handle of my backpack. The novelty here is that I removed the strap and put a band from a congress ID holder, through a clip from a Sony Ericsson phone pouch I no longer used. I can remove it and put it back very easily, or read it while hanging. And the color matches the bag's fabric, so it is nice and not very obvious. And it adds almost no weight.

New EDC bag.
More compact, more gentle for the shoulder and able to be used as a monosling or backpack. (Image removed from quote.)

One year and a half later, the bag remains indispensable. I play with her all the time and I customised her a bit. I named her Πάνσακος, which means Omnisack.
I only carry my smartphone, my Endurandal and my kompoloi in my pants.

Quiz!

Can you spot somethnig that is MTO related?

OK, both the bag and most of the contents are MTO related (I have Victorinox, Leatherman and other EDC items inside), but there is one item that is shown, which is DIRECTLY MTO related.

Which and how?

Well, everything is MTO related, indeed. But the coin was bought directly from MTO.
