Does anyone have a Microsoft Office disc?

Well, I recently got a laptop from a friend. It does not have MS Word or Office. So, does anybody have a disc I could borrow? I will pay shipping!

If you don't have a specific need for Microsoft Office, you might want to check out OpenOffice.

I tried to download it twice.. It is not appearing on the desktop.. I will give it another try, I guess!

When I installed open office, no icon went on the desktop (until I created a shortcut) but it was visable on the start menu.

Are you saying that you can't locate it to install it? You should be able to select where you want to download it.
