What do you HATE seeing in review videos?

Please watch this whole video all the way to the end. Is it just me or does this guy follow all the rules of making a terrible review video? This review literally made me mad. Don't know if it's just me. I feel dumber after watching this and feel like I know less about the damn knife.

Other than that, quite good review of a quite effective tool. 
No, I did not watch all, I skipped to some parts.

But seriously: Don't make a video while you have a cold! Don't post a video where every sentence sounds the same!
Mitigating factors: The age of the reviewer, the comprehensiveness, the lighting, the neutral background.
All in all, the video seems to be a good visual presentation (most videos called a 'review' aren't a review, imho), just clear your nose and think before you speak.

Another unfan of Mr Fancy and his nuttiness. He isn't unbiased, and he doesn't always know what he's talking about. And his voice is annoying to my ears. It's bad enough when a 12 year old does it, but he's old enough he should know better.

What I can't stand are the "reviews" that are just unboxing and then a nearly fetishistic load of babble about the item, but they don't actually show use. Particularly when you are wearing sweat pants and a tshirt, don't unbox a $500 dollar knife, hold it reverently, and sound like you're reading marketting copy. You aren't fooling anyone- you look like you are afraid to damage it so you can't return it and get your money back. Look, if you can't afford it, don't try to review it then return it. Use it. And if you can afford it, don't look like a ragbag or sound like you're 12 and you're being naughty by showing your buddies your dad's rifle (or his porn stash).

And for pities sake, clean up the place a little. I can understand if your work space is a little cluttered, but if you are showing it on your kitchen table, at least move your diner plate.

With all these Leatherman OHTs in the giveaways I was excited about the prospect of actually winning one - I thought I'd better find out a little about the tool and went looking for a you tube review

I found one by nutnfancy. I have heard this name before and I know he does a lot of reviews. This one was 13 minutes long.
I gave up after six minutes of zero information at all on the OHT.
He waffled on about this that and the other: Different tools, the importance of brands, how excellent his reviews were, his patches.... blah blah blah
So I hit the stop button and found a decent review that actually told me something.

So I guess my hate is ..... reviewers who do not stick to (or in this case even talk about) their topic

Oooh, I've also moved to other videos without finishing his after listening about his "fanny pack" for like 3 minutes before any actual review starts. And he as if wants to mention everysmurfingtool/thing he has in every single video before he actually starts talking strictly about whatever he's reviewing right now.

Also his ... voice fluctuation, exclamations and, for the lack of a better term, weird "verbal sounds" are more likely to fit in the category first-video-ever attempts of 12-14-year-old boys.......

Perhaps it was already mentioned, but I really hate long irrelevant to the supposed video content intros. WTF, you say you're gonna talk about a product in the title or review it or unbox it. So... do not tell me who made you buy it, why they made you buy it, where did you see it and what price you bought it for and where you can find it cheaper. GO WITH THE VIDEOOOOOOOOOOO. Gr.

Sorry about the sorta-kinda thread necro, but I just came across this.

#1 DO NOT give a short teaser intro, NOT getting to the point, then have a 2 minute channel intro. Holy SMURF! Get to the POINT! Even TV series don't get a 2 minute intro. YOU ARE NOT THAT IMPORTANT!!!

#2. DO.... NOT... come back from your 2 minute intro and tease the point of your video for another TWO SMURFING MINUTES, you wretched pustule! Every second you don't get to the point is another second you sound to me like someone stretching their material, or proving you're a total narcissist, or making me wonder if you're trying to sell me a sham-wow towel.

#3. STOP... TALKING... IN... MILITARY BUZZWORD BINGO! F'ing Lieutenant!!!!!

I hate your guts so much. If you post a video on general prepping, stop sounding like you're joe.mil. NO ONE cares about the '30,000 foot view'. SAY 'overview'. It's allowed. General Notimpressed isn't going to bust you to a stinky enlisted rank if you talk like a smurfing HUMAN BEING!

I am not certain that he was a lieutenant in the military, but he did EVERY single thing I hated in new lieutenants in my time in the military.

I don't know this guy at all, but he is an incredible pile of fail as an effective speaker. I stopped the video after about five minutes, when I could no longer stand a single word coming out of his f'ing mouth.

Don't the military teach up-front TLDR stuff?

This has not bothered me if the guy is in the bush or a mechanic or something like that. These tend to be the one I pay special attention too.
