Oh no, I meant to the Break Room Nate!  I didn't know that this thread existed . I get most of mine online through Cigars International.

Stay away from the smoke, then. Perfect excuse to skip the grilling and just eat the barbecue :))

Oh I can’t do that, just like the bonfires, cooking on the grill is my pride as sitting back and watching the fire is my peace, if the smoke comes at me I just turn and don’t breath till the smoke shifts again..

Southern draw - I have tried a few of their cigars and they are OK but nothing I would buy again - Rose of Sharon is, I recall, the most interesting

Just a Partagas Black Label Pronto Sun Grown Cigarillo for me today.  These great little smokes come conveniently packed in tins of six, and are a nice 30-40 minute smoke when you don't have time for a full-size cigar.

I keep forgetting to take pics, but Rocky Patel Edge today.  Still one of my all-time favorites, though this one seemed to have difficulty staying lit.  Possible operator inattentiveness...

Had a Don Thomas yesterday and a Partagas P2 during the weekend.
The P2 are among my current favourites.

Had a RP Edge Candela yesterday but it missed the point. No sweetness was present, the whole reason of getting Candelas.

I got a few different edge to try, but the Eddge line, in general, has not been that good in years. The original release was so tasty......

I smoked a San Lotano oval, boring, I just don't find any point in it and it is not cheap.

Busy day for me today, so a couple of Romeo y Julieta minis were all I had time for.  These cigarillos are about the best I have found for an "under ten-minute" smoke.

Rocky Patel B52 - definitely better than the current edge line, good burn, straight tobacco flavour

Villa Zamorano Expresso.

a very small but tightly packed and long lasting (I think I got nearly an hour) cigar.

Good flavour, for the price

Back to the good old Partagas P-2.

My current favourites, smooth, chocolatey, sweet, nice aroma and taste, good burn

Arturo Fuente Brevas Royal Maduro cheap and nasty. there are way better options

After trying various options, this is what I generally have in my car.

From left to right:
  • Romeo Y Julieta Minis (Natural) - about a ten minute smoke
  • Victor Sinclair 55 Series Cigarillos (Maduro) - about a twenty minute smoke
  • Punch Bolos - about a thirty to forty minute smoke

So, I have several options depending on how long I'll be driving.  If I know I'm going to be in the car for an hour or two, I'll try to grab a full-size cigar, but I don't regularly keep them in the car.

Good work, Barry!

I have always cut my cigars with a knife; the idea of carrying around a dedicated cigar cutter that serves no other purpose has never been appealing to me.  I've used SAKs, Stockmen, Buck 110s...as long as the blade is quite sharp and the user has a basic level of skill and knowledge of how to properly cut a cigar with a knife, I would agree that the cut should be at least the equal of what could be achieved with a dedicated cutter, if not superior.
