Wife and kids went to the pool, so it was time for a little R&R for me as well...

Nice stogie!!!

I have been under the weather/out of sorts all week so no cigars since last weekend.

Thanks.  You know cigars and scotch are good for whatever ails you... :D

Oh man, y'all are really making me want a cigar but I didn't bring any with me on this trip :(

You left those glorious cigars at home?   :ahhh   :D

Lol sure did, not much room after I packed the cameras, lenses, and gear. Still not a proper excuse, I know. Ah well, I'm sure I can find a way to enjoy my week without them.  ;)

Tomorrow's adventure:

Monday's adventure:

Lol!!   God I love the smell of pipe tobacco.  I remember when my dad used to smoke pipe, and it smelt soooo good!!  I think I'll stick with cigars for now though.

No I haven't.  I'm not sure I've even heard of them.  Sounds like the best of both worlds to me though!!

BLACK & MILD Cigars

Middleton Black & Mild cigars are a standard for cigar lovers around the world. Domestically produced, Black & Mild's are especially popular in the United States. This pipe-tobacco cigar has the aromas and tastes you have come to expect from the finest cigars

I believe you're on the right track there.  What better way could there be to rid the world of tobacco than to burn it?

Dont forget the DE KFC and Leccia Black with Latakia. Also a local company here produces one with Perique called the Tabacalera 1881 Perique.

The Thompson Brittany's are decent sized pipe tobacco cigars at 38 ring in plastic tubes to stay fresh...but no shipping to Canada...lots of flavors too.

I just got a couple KFCs y'day. I really love Perique tobacco in the pipe too  The Leccia Black didn't do much for me. Has anyone tried the new Luchador? It was ok to me.

Tomorrow's adventure:
(Image removed from quote.)

Dang! I was in Cebu in '09, and I didn't hear of that attraction, else I would've made time to check it out. Did get up atop Mountain View park for a look down at the beautiful city at night. And of course, big sutukil supper at the base of L2 Memorial.

I've had all 3 sizes, The Chunky 4x46, Just a Friend 6x52 and Fat Molly 6x56. The Fat Molly is my favorite so far. I got The Chunky y'day pretty much because we only had 3 left and they looked like they needed rescuing :P :D

Carlos Torano Exodus Torpedo - with a punch or cut with just a tip of the end of the point snipped off with a cutter and lit off a wooden match with a glass of Woodford Reserve on the rocks. All time favorite.

I smoked a lot more cigars years ago when I managed a liquor store that also sold cigars. Vendors constantly had freebies.

Been a while since I've bought any, I'd recognize them if I saw them but forget most of the names.

I remember liking a few Fuente's, a couple by Rocky Patel and I found the Sancho Panza line to be the best value. Great cigars for the price.

Of the little cigars in the tins, I remember being fond of the darker leaf Macanudo's.

Typing this post makes me think I should treat myself to a cigar. It's been a while. Maybe next weekend along with a bottle of bourbon.

The Toraño Exodus  I love the cigar reps we have at our shop. At least a couple a week stopping in to drop off freebies lately  :mail:

I guess I forgot to mention my thoughts earlier on the KFC. If I could smoke them regularly, I would. Very limited stock at the shop so I leave some for everyone else too. Caution: most definitely not a cigar for novices and I would recommend only smoking this one on a full stomach
