Technically does that make them Pioneers (not Soldiers) ??
Still technically a soldier.
I've seen them with the keyring attachment from 1993 upto 2003.
All are factory made like this.

The variations tab on the wiki clears that up.

To reduce the weight of the whole SAK, this time the scales are 2.5mm thick. I think they look even better.

It really does. Same thickness as standard alox?

The first scales were 3mm thick, like the original alox ones.
The second time I used 2.5mm and the new ones look more like the original one.

I guess the roundness of the edge makes the different.

Last week I made another set of scales from Titanium 2,5mm thick. There is a brass liner in both of the SAKs.
Both knives were custom made to match client's wishes.

Another TiSoldier was made. This time the owner wanted an anodized green aluminum liner, sandblasted scales, and "stoned" ;) tools.

I can't tell, does that blade have any finish on it or just heavily stone-washed?
