Traveler or climber?
on: June 10, 2014, 07:42:12 PM
Ok here is what I have and early 1990's what I thought was a climber (Screw in scissors with hook) I always called it a Climber but it has no key ring. So is it a Climber or a Traveler?
Jeep the SAK of the auto world or is it SAK the Jeep of the Knife world?

I thought the Traveller had an altimeter?

edit;

On SAWIKI now and I see the older one "The Original Traveller" without a keyring so I guess so.

That's another one :)

The Climber without keyring (and hook) was originally known as Traveller. I carry one with sapphire plus scales :)

So because it has the hook it's a Climber?

I guess that's still a Climber, but without keyring. Does it have a company logo on the scales?

Yes "BRUDERHILFE FAMILIENFURSORGE" I think it's a German Insurance Co. but not sure.

I see. I have a couple of advertising SAKs without a keyring. Probably a little bit cheaper :think:
