Considering configuration and origin of parts what about Compact Huntsman or Huntsman Compact.  Or a regional twist?  The Kent Compact :D

:pok: I'd ignore Gareth's suggestions. He always ignores mine   :P

That's a great looking knife NKB. I love the smoky translucent scales!

Before I did my Soldier mod I looked on the SAK Selector and couldn't belive they didn't offer a single layer full size alox sak with reamer. It is just what I wanted for front pocket. The nice thing about this mod is it's cheap (price of a Soldier...$20.00 tops) and you can use the same pins. No extra parts needed! Great poor man mod. Great usable knife.

I suppose its because you only really appreciate that awl after using it.  Joe public would probably look at it and think why would I want that when I can have one with a couple of blades on.  Just a thought.

I am seeing a trend here with mods that start with a compact and various other tools.  The combo tool is a layer saver thats for sure.  I just love seeing all the different ideas all of you come up with.  Keep up the good work :climber:

Time to bring this thread back to page one.  Not the most exciting mod out there I admit, but they make for good practice pieces.  Basically it's a 91mm Gourmet.  I liked the blue scales on my Yeoman enough that I thought I would clean up my only other set.

I think they make a good candidate for a "dress SAK".
