A rescue tool and the woodsaw layer from a 2nd hand well used Locksmith... For the layer order and tool configuration I wanted, backspring without backtools is required... hence going for the Locksmith... but inspecting the parts post disassembly, It turns out the backspring for wood saw, metal file and non OH-blades are interchangeable...

I might have shared the blown up sak pic of the Locksmith in the dedicated thread...

Added an extra bit driver and bit case that I took off an old XLT to my Cybertool 41 as well as rearranged some of the tools so the pliers and bit drivers are centered. Any ideas on what I should call it?

@Sir AV8 - Please try and avoid making the same post in two different threads - Best to keep one topic all together
This is deffo the best thread for this particular post !  :tu:

Here is my reply from the other thread:

Cybertool XL
Cybertool XLT
Cybertool II
Cybertool 51  (I think 10 is the Victorinox no of funtions provided by the Cybertool)

All a bit boring and not very creative

I know, I'm sorry, I've only been on here for a couple days now and am still learning where everything is at. Is there a way I can take down the post on the other topic? Also thanks for the suggestions! I was thinking Cybertool XL myself but Cybertool 51 sounds way better! Also, dumb question, I tried counting all the functions myself, and got to 48ish. How did you get 51? Thanks for the input!

No problem on the 'double post' - For sure it takes a while to find your way around
Yes I can delete those posts - So will do so as I have your permission !

Yes Cybertool functions - Always a tricky one - I have tried a few times myself to get to 41 !!!  :dunno:

Here is Victorinox's own list of Cybertool L (ex-41) functions - And they only claim 39 now !! :)
Maybe if you said the:
1. Reamer, punch and sewing awl
was a
1. Reamer
2. Punch
3. Sewing awl

You'd get to the 41

PS. Just   I am not sure you could claim 51 though

For sure the second set of bit drivers are new functions - But can the second driver itself and its female wrenches be counted twice  :dunno:   :D

Yeah you're right. When you count awl the reamer/punch's functions, (forgive me) it does come to 41. And Victorinox does not list the XAVT's second bit wrench and case as a separate tool, which mean just the bits are different. Meaning Cybertool 49. Kind of boring. So after much brainstorming, I came up with CyberChamp!

So just found out I'm not the first person to come up with that name, the credit goes to Der Eidgenosse, a YouTuber who does SAK mods. In one of his tutorials (which are excellent) he adds the bit driver and case to a Swiss Champ, hence, the name CyberChamp. To any of you guys who are wanting to try your first mod, I can highly recommend his videos, as they are very helpful.

Being the current situation, i cooked a stew today. Then, i bought bread. Then, i thought about the only thing i can do without ordering something (because i have no idea when i'll get the package these days). I put a hole in the scales. Took me 10'. Afterwards, it took me another 10' because the plastic wasn't perfectly aligned with the metal. S h iii t...
80% with the Sportsman's awl, the rest with the heated hex and the Sportsman's blade. It doesn't look fantastic but i'll get green scales eventually, so...

I bet it fell out of the hex driver when you heated it up.  Holds the bits.

So it is the magnet that holds in the bits, the adhesive holding it in place loosened from the heat, and it came out with that bit.

Recently finished another Compact Tinker Small (84mm) mod as a favor for a friend... This build is over 2 years in the making as he needed to source the parts required... and it finally came over the weekend... immediately went to work and this is the result...

Ok I decided to do this one with bone dried for years in my garden.
This bone is cow bone from my butcher .
I acid wash the metals to give vintage looks.
Sorry no process pics but the most difficult part was to carve the holes for pins giving enough deepnes but not breaking the bone.
Quite happy with final result.

Added a couple of Wenger tools to my bladeless mod...

Might try to do the same to an Executive 74mm frame... just need to hunt for parts...
