I don't know anything about all the 'xAK's, but that is Mauser is very interesting. Is there anywhere I can learn more about all these non-Swiss Army Vic and Wenger knives?

It takes a true connoisseur to notice 3mm though...
I find using the combo tool on the GAK awkward, and somewhat dangerous (even with saw cover in place), and the reduced saw length is not that great.
