I have only a Silver one whitouth any design, but i got the Arc Lighter Insert last Year, shortly bevor this Christian Day where you go to the Cementary to light the Tomb Candles on the Places where your died Familie Members are buried .., whitout a tiny Candle to carry over the Flame its quite difficult to light up these Candles ..
It’s nice that you dont have to worry about Fuel Tripping in your Pocket, and as long you have also a small Powerbank and an Micro USB Adapter you can light up anything whit it..

My only issue whit the Zippo, due to its quite slippy Metall Case its quite difficult to securely carry it in your pocket, the only solution i found is to have it in an Zippo Belt Pouch  ..

And i finally found my old black Zippo only to discover it was actually not an Zippo but an Clone: There is no Engraving on the Bottom of the Case that says anything and the Arc Lighter Insert slips out anytime i would open the Lid…
Your SAK is only fully yours, when it bites you, or you opend a Trink of your joice whit it

I thought this would be a good place to post about my new insert.

I know Zippo has its own bit kit, but this one I found on Etsy is designed for Leatherman flat bits which it holds 6.  It makes a nice compliment to a Leatherman and gives an excuse to carry 1 if not 2 of my Zippos.

I brought these two Zippos home with me about 6 weeks ago.

I found in my boyhood home, that we are cleaning up since my mother past.

These were my father’s, he preceded my mother by 20 years.   He always carried a Zippo, and I lost track the number of times he sent it end for repair.  The one remember had a scene of a Hunter, bird dog drawing down on a launched Ringneck Pheasant !

The unit on the left appears to be a plain chrome model and has a broken lid latch.

The one on the right maybe a replacement that was returned after the case of his hunting model could be repaired any longer.

From the wear I suspect he purchased a spare sometime after 1971, do he always could rotate a unit into service when other went for repair.

Cool piece.  Does it hold fluid and light as well, or just hold bits?

As the Zippo looks nice but its quite annoying to Pocket carry, i did decide a few months ago to get me such an No Name Electric Lighter whit an Telescope Neck which makes it also much more sutuable for lightning a bit more unreachable Candles (like these Cementary Candles etc) not only is this a bit better for Pocketcarry, i did test its power by "Prizzle" myself and it seems like the Elektric Lighter Inlay for the Zippo is a bit less Powerfull than the No Name Lighter .. ^^

Heard a cute dad’s joke -

What the difference between a Hippo and a ZIPPO?

A Hippo is a big HEAVY beast.

A ZIPPO is just a little LIGHTER
