Welcome to the world of dropping your knife and worrying about the knife damaging the floor, and not the floor wrecking your knife.

Nice one Cody!  That exact same knife was my first plunge into the Alox world, and I'm now firmly hooked.  I can't see myself going back, except for maybe the odd specialty (I'm coming for you Cheesemaster!)

Before Victorinox started limiting shops to the standard colors, there were several runs of blue, green and black alox with red shields produced by the Good Stuff Shoppe in Denmark.

Interesting - it seems like Vic wants to run a tight ship in terms of their branding.  Everyone except for BCLogic can remember a time when there were only two colors of Cellidor. Red and Silver were the only Alox colors for the longest time. 

There must be something counterintuitive with the branding and colors - and why Ford used to only come in black, and Volvo only comes in three colors or so.  :think:

I didn't know there was anything besides silver Alox until MTo

Now I have mixed feelings about that.  Except for orange.  I know how I feel about orange.  It could have "From the private collection of Sir VicaLot" etched across the blade and I'd still like it.
