Here's a somewhat-unique colour for an alox model. It's a +B Solo in 'Lake Blue' (IIRC). It's actually hilariously similarly coloured to the Dharkan Nespresso Pioneer, but meh.

Hey Magentus, what differences between the Soldier and SI exist that make you prefer the latter to the former if you don't mind my asking.

Very lovely, Magentus!  The Model 1961 is my overall favorite SAK too.

Not at awl! I don't have a Soldier to compare with the SI, I just think that the model (SI and Soldier) is an apex of design and function - it's just the SI is what I have.

The price of my first folding knife, which I bought more than 40 years ago, is shown. The cost is approximate, no one remembers exactly.
Or maybe you also want me to give you the key to the apartment where the money is?

Interesting! When did you have the price engraved on it Rostovsky?

A couple of years ago. I spent a long time thinking about what kind of inscription to make there and decided to indicate the price of an inexpensive knife made in the USSR forty years ago. Today, this is about two cents. Forty years ago, it was about a couple of dollars. What can I do? Prices are rising, and morality is declining. Taking this opportunity, I want to share my story of meeting SAK. In the USSR, SAK was not available, and nothing was known about them. I first saw a SAK in the late 1980s, owned by a student from the German Democratic Republic (not to be confused with the Federal Republic of Germany), who was traveling through the USSR during her summer break. It was a 91mm model. I held the SAK in my hands, but it didn't make any impression on me, as there were many small multi-purpose knives in the USSR at the time, and this particular one was a red women's knife. However, I remember the SAK. Perhaps it was because I spent a lot of enjoyable time with this girl. She drank vodka like an old dockworker. Then she moved on and we never saw each other again.
Or maybe you also want me to give you the key to the apartment where the money is?

The latest addition to the alox tribe , the Farmer X . I've been eyeing one of these since they came out and the family kindly gifted me one for my birthday.  Looking forward to getting to know it better
