I placed in Mrs. Powernoodle's purse a key ring with a Leatherman PS4, Victorinox Classic SD, CountyComm mini pry bar, Fox 40 micro whistle and Fenix E01 AAA light.  The PS4's scissor spring broke (with almost no usage), so I replaced it with a Gerber Dime.  She almost never uses any of it, but it makes me feel good to know its there, and I've figured out that feeling good is better than not feeling good.

My 13 and 17 year old sons don't EDC, but I hope to correct that situation when the opportunity presents itself.

I think they only carry what I've gifted them, but as they don't live with me it's hard to check ... and no pics  ;)

Mum: Fenix E01 and Spyderco Bug
Dad: Fenix E01, Spyderco Bug and Swiss+Tech 8:1
Bro 1: Probably doesn't carry any of the numerous bits I've gifted  :-\
Bro 2: Juice CS4, Wenger Evo14 .... forgotten which light

Beyond them, it's not even worth trying  :whistle:

Nothing.

Well, i stored a little blue (her prefered color, so i hope it will stay) Ultrafire light in her purse. And a red one in each of our cars. She´s still refusing to get a small MT, and no way she would carry any knife.

Granddaughters - Various colored Classics
Grandson - SI and Ranger.

My grandfather used to carry a Victoria pruner and a slim slipjoint. I got the knife bug from him.

Only other family member that EDC anything is my mother, his daughter, but her carry puts mine to shame. ;)

A Vic Classic, Wenger Forester, Squirt S4 knock off, SRM 710, small folding saw, fauxton and iTP A3,  Buff and various other gear are scatered in her purses.

I've got all the women in my family using (well at least carrying) one 58mm or another. From Manager to Sig. Lite.

Carrying and using are two different stories...

When I picked up a Wingman at Home depot it came with a Style PS (for $20 no less) and I gave her the Style which she carries in her purse (somewhere).

She also has a $3 C&C small MT from Target at the office and she says she uses that regularly. She even disassembled and fixed an electric stapler!   :tu:

Let's see, :think: I kinda narrowed it down between my custom pharmber, cadet, and farmer, the wife on the other hand she had a bunch of junk but I got her to just carry a bantam, the older son only has his champion plus, which he never uses, and the younger son, well, he didn't hit 12 yet, but when he does he'll get his champ+, kinda a little tradition, him on the other hand can't wait!   Me: Alternating between a Wenger SI/Micra and a Super Tinker. Whatever I carry in a day goes on a keyring with a Fenix e01. I also always carry a pair of Knipex Cobra Pliers in the car for plier duties.

  Mrs. TJ: She has a Classic SD in her purse and I have seen her use it.

  Brother: He carries a Wenger. I'm not sure what model
 
  Dad: I know he probably carries some sort of slipjoint

  Mom: Not sure.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

My wife keeps a pink Classic SD on her keychain, and there's always a pink pinstripe Climber in her purse (I bought her a pink pinstripe Spartan, but she wanted scissors, so I had to do a scale swap to a Climber).  My dad keeps a minichamp on the keys at all time.  My sister has a Classic SD in her purse as well.
Yes that's true, but I've been out to sea a long time.

 i gave my wife a micra a few years ago, she lost it in the liner of her purse and didnt notice.  Im so ashamed! 

I gave my brother a wingman and a schrade old timer this yeae, he carries both every day. 

I have given my dad 7 or so multitools over the last 8 years, he carries one at all times.  His favorites are the juice s2 i gave him 8 years ago and the vic spirit i gave him two years ago.  He also carries a glock 19. 

Mom carries no knife but she does carry a pink handled ruger .38.

Wife: Classic SD i gave  her, but she prefers some terrible chinese folding scissors she found herself. I kind of envy women have their handbags so they could EDC anything, but most just fill it with junk.
Son Classic SD and some Topeak bike tool in his back pack when he bikes to school.
Daughter Iron man action figure (shes 3,5)
Father Vic Huntsman (sharp as a knee)
Me A steady rotation but always a Rambler on key chain and mostly a small Tinker or Cadet in fifth pocket.

I have given away many to relatives and friends, but few are worn as EDC and if tehy are regularly worn they are neglected, dull and gritty. I touch them up for them when I have the chance because I can´t stand a neglected SAK.

I do the same with the tools I have given out.  When I see the person I ask to see the tool and clean and sharpen it.  I am now switching all the lights I gave out batteries with rechargeable batteries by giving them easy starter kits .

 - Self: Midnite Minichamp, Alox Bantam, or Spartan, depending. Hope to replace at Christmas with a Swisschamp or Cybertool Lite.*
 - Wife: Sneakers-patterned Classic SD.
 - Son: 6 mos. old. We'll get there. Probably start him off with an Explorer or something else with a lens.
 - Pop: Alox Bantam.
 - Mom, deceased: We found a Chinese knockoff SAK in her purse after she died, and it became our disposable beater which was therefore the one we brought on our honeymoon to Tahiti and used all day every day for our wines, fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and baguettes. It's now of immense sentimental value to us.

* Why is the Cybertool Lite the only Vic SAK that has both a magnifying lens and an LED??
