Any tool is better than nothing. Some not by much
Cheap tool FIGHT CLUB

I have been doing a test-to-destruction of the Camillus Les Stroud Engage, and in one particular test, I pitted it up against a handful of other low cost MTs.
That gave me an idea of running those other tools through a similar battery of tests. Since these are tools I'd be too embarrassed to even ask for money to get rid of, maybe seeing what kind of beating they can take is their most noble end.
Here's a link to my nose-on plier test in the previously mentioned thread.

As a pry tool, I tested the Engage, and found a permanent bend in both tools I used, the fish scaler and the flathead driver.
I tried this same prying task with the long flathead driver of the Ozark Trail MT from Walmart. I had some bend on the tool, but less than happened with the Engage.
