What razors do you guys use? (Plus a rant)

I have just had to fork out for yet another razor as the last one I bought, a Wilkinson Sword Quattro, was an absolute POS and continually got bunged up rather than shaving anything.  I went for a Gillette Fusion Power in the end as not only was it cheaper than some of the others, it was also battery powered and I thought I'd give one a try (although I am sure it's a complete joke).  What nearly put me off buying it though was the fact that it was called a "Stealth" version.  "Stealth" is just 2 steps away from "Tactical" IMO and I nearly didn't buy it out of principal.  Besides, if I buy something, I want to be able to see it. 

So what do you guys use (those that can actually be bothered to shave anyway )?  And are you like me and get a little peed off when advertisers call things stupid "cool" names in order to try to boost sales?

Gillette Sensor 3 disposables usually when not my Gillette Mach3 Turbo, they sent me a Gillette Fusion to try out, haven't even opened it...

I used to use a Gillette Sensor but they started cutting me all the time. I'm wondering if Gillette started letting the quality slide to motivate people to buy a new razor. Now I use a Mach3. It's OK but kinda expensive. Thankfully I only shave once every 3 days. I SHOULD shave every day but I don't.

I used to use a Mach 3, but then the wife stole it.    It was probably the best I have used, but it wasn't great.

I also wonder how many blades they are going to keep adding.  This Fusion has 5.

I find the sensor3s better than the mach3... especially if I haven't used it for a while, I tend to get more cuts. I do prefer it, but as you already pointed out the price is a bit insane. I usually shave about once a week... I also have an electric trimmer to get the longer stuff.

To be honest I just use cheap disposable's, as there all just as crap as one another (I seem to have stupidly tough stuble that can blunt a razor near instantly )

What I really want it a good (new) ole cut throat , it seem criminal to keep throwing stuff away rather than resharpening it

I too mostly use disposables. I figure if they don't kill me (they may cut me badly...), they'll only make me stronger (or my skin rougher and my beard tougher and more scraggly...). I have one good multi-blade razor (I THINK it's good-I haven't tried it yet) that I use for travel (haven't traveled much lately, hence haven't used the razor yet). I choke when I see one of those razors with the introductory 2 extra blades and then see the refills are nearly 10 times the cost of the initial razor!

My sisters purchased a Remington rechargeable powered razor a few years back. It works marginally better than the disposable, but on the plus side I could get a PST for two Remington blade refills!!!

I usually follow a bi-monthly shaving schedule due to not having any reason to shave more, I'm a college student it's expected to look a little scruffy. I use cheap disposables too, usually tri-blade drugstore brands that are 3 for a $1.

You refer to that truly bizarre custom of using a metal blade in a generally hopeless effort to scrape the bristles from the delicate hide of face and neck?

You subject yourself to this misery daily?

You spend your hard-earned money on disposable blades, lathers, lotions?

I'm waiting until the manufacturers market fully tactical razors:
-woodland camo handles
-black-coated blades
-pocket clips
-one-hand removable blade covers

If I could get my hands on a tactical razor, then I might start shaving.

Wow, it that for real?

Even if it is for real, I don't see a pocket clip.  Without a pocket clip it isn't a fully tactical razor.

I seen a commercial about a "lifetime razor" that's guaranteed to never need sharpening (independent labs confirmed it), but it's only warranted for 30 days! lmao

I can't be bothered with wet shaving, I used to use disposables but didn't like them very much, then went onto some sort of Gillette which had 39 blades or whatever they say, now I just use my trusty Philips electric shaver. Its got a load of flashy LED's so its good enough for me

Same with me. I used to use a a Gillette Fusion but gave it up do to the expensive blades. Now I just use some Gillette disposables.

it's some kind of disposable blade sharpener, just put your razor in the slot, hit the sharpener button and presto~! sharp blade again, says it can do it 200 times! whoo hoo

I use a Braun electric.  It's much cheaper in the long run than disposables.

i use only straightrazors,modern ones with replaceable blade and some traditional models.i even shave my head with em,the only way to get clean shave.
