Let's collaborate on a GAW next month. We'll both supply an item available to anyone who donates to MTO. Ten dollars or more, aside from what the site gives away. I'll contribute.

Number 500 brother! :drink:
Thanks for all your help my friend. Thanks to all for making this a great thread and for getting me to 500 posts!
Stew

congrats Stew !

now you are labeled a Hero member  (though I already knew you were a hero member)

RAK attacks could be a funny way to express this too!

I will be doing a GAW around my 5000 post,  so before long, I will hold that GAW.   :ahhh
I'd be happy to help any way needed.

that is a great idea,  but I recommend we do them apart.  different GAWs means different winners.  (It also means more GAWs, thereby more shining examples of RAK)
RAK ATTACK!
also, I know my 5K GAW will be held as soon as I can determine what to give, and will not run a month (I hate waiting to announce the winner)

also doing your own GAW versus a shared one is that you become a beacon to follow, and though I know you are not after any recognition, many people would like to give it, and you cannot deny them their right to do it properly
If I can help, let me know

Congrats on the 500 posts mate.

I'm not in a position to donate but I'm not going to miss out on the fun.

So if Syph007 would kindly PM me a postal address, I have a little something for you.

If anyone tries to hug me I'll flatten em.

Especially that pretty looking clown.  :D

Yes Sir. You're right and that is how I will do it, I'll follow your lead. With that, goodnight all. It's impossible to personally thank everyone for participating but Ajo and I know who you all are. Detron, Captain, Millhouse, thank you from the bottom of my heart. My mere words don't do your actions justice, nevertheless, what you all did means the world to me. I clearly know who my friends are and your loyalty speaks volumes about each of you. See you soon gentlemen.

Ha! Thanks zoidberg! Final RAK of the night, I am donating $10.00 from zoidberg to MTO in Ajo's name. Now we get zoidberg in the GAW. Thanks zoidberg for playing my friend.
Sincerely,

Just catching up with MTo right now.  Water blockage at my new place and 2 hours later fixed.

Stew this thread embodies the spirit here at MTo so  :salute: and thanks to Sawman for the inspiration.  I'll shoot you a PM now.

Sink wouldn't drain then second side filled.  I thought I would fix it but it was lower in the main line.  Called prop management and 45 min late plumber was here.  He snaked the line and unclogged it.  All is good again and the water is flowing freely.

No surprise here, Aloha007 just PM'd me and also requested that his random gift be turned into a donation to MTO. I have now made another donation to MTO from Aloha007 in honor of Ajo. Thanks Aloha for being a class act. Random acts of kindness completed for tonight. I will pick this up again when I can afford it and after a little sleep. Thanks again everyone for helping out and re-energizing the MTO spirit.

Just had another idea to get the ball rolling. I will also select one member at random, and make a small donation to MTO in their name. In this case I'm making the donation on behalf of Solomankane.  Soloman helped another friend of ours for no reason at all and I also respect the fact that he serves his country by being in the Italian Coast Guard. Very cool! This donation is for you SK.
Regards,
Stew...

I too am (trying to) catching up with the threads. My excuse? Vacation and trying to recover from it.

Very cool what ya'll have done here. I love giving stuff to people and worthy causes but with no expectation of reciprocity.

Just came back from short holidays... You guys really disappoint me. I mean Tools and Oil and Dirt, I was expecting some real men here not some bleeding hearts... And could you please recall those damn invisible Ninjas hugging me and cutting onions, very annoying...

Here, I was wondering why the donations just made a jump, now I know :tu:

A custodial worker at work today asked to borrow a tool to fix a wheel on his cart.  (he knew who to ask  :D  )

I let him use my Rebar.  he loved it,  I promised him a PST, which I will take to him tomorrow.  he was happier than I could have ever expected.
If I can help, let me know
