Anyone else feel like this is something Ron Swanson would build.  :D

If you do not watch the show you will have no idea what I am talking about.

that is so James Bond it appeals to my inner 'boy'
not sure it would have the same effect without the guns  ::) but it would stop the Mrs complaining about my 'toys' being in the living room
(but I guess she only find something else to moan about )

I remember that one. I actually intended to try and build something like it, without the fancy locks though. Two years later, I only managed to make a hidden desk drawer. One day though.

Make that three orders, but swap my whiskey for a nice bottle of red wine from Douro or Alentejo.

Now I am curious, how do you hide a hidden desk drawer in plain sight?

Now I need a hidden drawer, very nice.  :tu:  I have plans made up for a desk with some hidden drawers/compartments, but I could add a drawer to my current desk much sooner.

@enki_ck  Very nice, totally utilitarian.  And how do you like the Imco 6700?  I have been eyeing that for a while, and heard the Austrian version is the best and other imitation are crappy, but it's a little hard to verify that on ebay.

The Austrian IMCO is the only real one, but regretfully the company closed its doors about two years ago. The small stock people still have sells for 3x and more it originally was. I'm very sorry I learned too late about the closing and didn't stock up. I gave away a few and am now down to only one of each model.

The Triplex/6700 is the best one as it holds the most fluid/lasts the longest on a single fill and has an adjustable chimney so you can modify the hight of the flame. The Junior has the same capacity but no adjustable chimney. My favorite however is the Streamline. Classiest of the bunch. 8) But they all surpass the Zippos in fuel economy. :hatsoff:

Here's the family shot.

As for the copies ...  Bought one online, got it a few weeks later, tried it and before the day was over it was in the trash. The difference in quality was too severe.

I think mrynn was looking into buying an IMCO recently. Don't know if she got one in the end or not.
