This will probably get shifted to a "collection" topic which I could not find. Nevertheless, I've been sneakily wandering through the forum for a while now and thought it was high time to dive in with something pretty standard: a "collection" photograph. So here it is, my humble Vic beginnings.

Bit of this and that there, except anything very old because old vics are as rare as rocking horse faeces in Australia. I haven't really found a 'direction' for my collection yet but I'm up for suggestions. I still haven't quite put my finger on what exactly makes collecting these little things so addictive...? :-\

Greetings and Welcome, you seem to be doing just fine with your "direction".  I just love the Damascus blade. There seems to be one reason why we love these knives, they are fricken awesome.

Nice collection there, I too agree if you are not certain about the direction, just purchase what you like within budget.  Eventually, a trend may emerge and help you to decide what's best for you. :tu:

Welcome! English is my second language, so I guess I haven't quite caught the meaning of "humble" when I look at your collection. ;)

As for directions... My experience is they emerge and dissolve in cycles as life moves on.

Only thing I notice is a serious lack of Wengers. :pok: You should correct that as soon as possible. :whistle:

Don't take this badly, but I'm not sure if I like Wenger yet. I purchased a Wenger Pocket Tool Chest some time ago and returned it because the springs were too weak to close the tools properly. When I returned it to the store, I noted the other ones had the same problem. I'm not ruling them out, I just need to see a few more. Also not convinced on the serrated scissors...
