Why does my bike hate me? I was going to ride it to work tommorow instead of getting the bus (£4.40!) but the innertube decided to explode at an old puncture grrrr

Ive sold to many i regret to list, but my 89 explosive, 1991 vitus cyclo cross bike, my giant cfr 1 , giant ATX1 , last year i sold my 1995 kona kilauea and really regret it now as it rode great,bikes i would like

for me i like to get off road but like a bike i can bung on my shoulder as like to climb stuff . so a cyclo cross bike is spot on, but any bike i can fit racks and bugger off on is great

Now I always thought that Cyclo Cross bikes would make better 'real world' road bikes than those stripped down carbon job's ever would

x2...paired with a good broke in brookes and a natural cork wrapping...maybe some eggbeaters and a good "beer stop" on the way back.

yeah i miss my cross bike, i would go Ti or a good steal these days , plus have rack mounts and guard mounts, spot on, and yes a beer goes with long rides its the rules

my road bike at the moment has evolved from my training bike to a commuter  not bike porn but a goood every day bike for me plus looks tatty so no one bothers with it,

my bike decided to eat my trousers on the way to work today i removed my trousers and now it seems its eating itself at the front de railer tis now in for repair

yeah lucky for me my mates dad is a bikes boff and just tends to look at my bike laugh at how many hideously things are wrong with it then magically fix it all with a hammer 

once i took a bike to him after a bad crash and he told me the only the only thing that wasnt broken was the saddle

the brakes were held on with nout but rust and would have fallen off had the break cables not have snapped...

who said using your feet to stops bad 

my bikes get more care these days

Not pics from the ride as I just got my head down and didn't want to stop, I've been off the bike over the winter as my knee had been giving me some trouble.  Thankfully it seems to have cleared up after the rest
