pro scout blade question

does anyone know what year it was that gerber introduced the wharncliffe blade to the pro scout?

im trying to get an idea of how old one of the pro scouts is that I have.

it has the patent stamping on the inside of the handle and the combo wharncliffe blade.i know that the patent stamp is no longer on the newer versions so im trying to age this particular one.

any help here would be great.
