Well, not really. The only thing I EDC that could be considered odd would probably be some Neosporin..  :)

I carry band-aids in my wallet as well. I don't think I carry anything strange. My wife think it's strange that I carry two knifes and two flashlights sometimes. The only thing that might be strange is I carry a small cut up piece of a plastic soda bottle that I put in between my Surefire and my hat when clipped to the bill so the knurling wont chew up my hat.

I've been EDCing a bandanna the past few weeks...those might be odd to some folks as I rarely see one in their EDC pics.

Hmm.

I have a few things in my wallet that I consider "odd."
  • 1.5"x1.5" Mirror
  • 3 Safety Pins
  • Two individually sealed alcohol swabs

Corrugated, I carry a bandanna too. It's a wonderful multi-purpose item that has come in extremely useful since I started carrying it a few years ago.

Reset tool, closing circuits and occasionally keeping bits of paper together.

I know, so dull :)

i carry alcohol and iodine wipes too,its bit weird ive noticed but it sure aint no big weight added to your edc, compared to the advantage it gives i in case of some bleeding injury.maybe i started to carry these cause of my tattoo artist career where hygiene is an issue.

 :)

  • Field Towel: Wipes and dries body parts and gear.
  • Hat: For when it's ridiculous hot but you have to be outside.
  • Bag: Lay it out flat, put whatever little nuts, bolts, coins, etc. in it and then wrap it up, fold it or tie with a rubber band and throw it in your pack without worry of loss.
  • Handkerchief:
  • Gaiter:
  • Toilet Paper: Never done this one myself but have a few friends who have "saved their socks" this way.
  • Dust mask: Slightly moisten and you're good to go.

I've also used it as a hazard signal when hauling lumber in my van that had to be transported with the doors open. Prevented me from getting a ticket. Basically it's just a simple way to prepare for poor planning on your or your companions part.

Well I've only been carrying mine for about 2 weeks and havent used it yet.

One thing I plan on using it for is as a "placemat" for when I dissassemble/repair stuff while not at my desk.  Or it can be used as a makeshift basket to carry stuff.

(the sniper net,had to post cause i donno what u call it there)

yes buffs are great.theyre bit small for use at below zero temperatures but i use two then, one for neck, and one with a slight overlap with first one,an this i pull all the way up,over cheek bones and nose.when i ride snow ski mobile(?) i use the one with insulation.

What's "usual" EDC?  ???

I carry a mylar blanket in my back pocket and it sets off metal detectors all on its own. That's pretty freaky.

Also, the flashlight on my keychain hasn't worked in months, but it fits the hand so well I just can't let go of it.  ;)   Should be switching to Tim's Vic LED when it arrives. I heard those things are shockproof.

There's a P-51, matches, peanut lighter and wire saw tucked away in my cellphone pouch. Not that strange, but I'm proud of stuffing them all in there totally under the radar.

Finally, I pay homage to Mcgyver by carrying a flattened roll of duct tape in my change pocket. It amazes other people almost as much as it amazes me nobody else does it.
