Well, not really. The only thing I EDC that could be considered odd would probably be some Neosporin..  :)

Great stuff on cuts, warts, and genital sores ::)

It amazes other people almost as much as it amazes me nobody else does it.

I do it too! If I remember correctly I picked up the tip from EDCforums a few years ago. I like to roll a few feet around an old credit-sized card like a discount card or business card.

I had some duct tape around a Bic once about a year ago.  I used while riding in a van with one of those gates that connects the "cab" to the storage area...well the gates' lock was broken so the metal gate kept banging as we drove.  I duct taped it shut for the ride :D

I also carry about 3 ft of duck tape rolled around an old credit card or something.

Was in a convenience store yesterday standing in line at the cashier station and I notice this guy standing in front of me in line.

White with pale skin, maybe early twenties, 5'6" tall, shaved head, ultra-saggy trousers, no shirt, blurred tats on muscular arms and torso.

He's saying to the guy standing in front of him, "Yeah man, I just got out the joint-"

Most interesting thing:  the left side of this guy's ribcage is half-covered in silver duct tape - probably a square foot of duct tape.  There are little trails of blood that have oozed out of the bottom of the duct tape, run down his ribcage, and dried up on the skin.

Field expedient bandage?  Knife slash to his ribs?  Who knows?

I don't know if it's unusual, but I think it's a good idea to carry a Sharpie/permanent-type marker in my carry kit. If you need to write messages on your car, a wall, glass or whatever, the Sharpie/permanents allow you to leave messages on almost any surface.

Yeah, my thinking was something along those lines.

Since he had no shirt, I thought maybe it had been ruined by being cut and soaked in blood, so he just threw it away.

Then, maybe he washed up in a public restroom and improvised a dressing out of paper hand towels and a roll of duct tape.

I've been EDCing a bandanna the past few weeks...those might be odd to some folks as I rarely see one in their EDC pics.

not odd to me.I EDC a Bandanna as well.I keep one in my shirt pocket at work and another folded and tucked into my belt.Summer time means getting sweaty while I break down and hook up sets.

Lockpicks and rarely a Victorinox swiss card. Also when I'm going to be in the woods I carry a handgun in case of snakes, etc.
