Leaving aside some concern that couldn't perform some task, not having all tools available, have to say that such a challenge it's very stimulating ...  >:D
And there is one less worry, which SAK to choose

You have a good point there in that this challenge has the potential for some of us to have to think outside the box and use what we have available.  I haven't really had to do that much at all though, which isn't a surprise to me.  Oh, and before this challenge, I didn't have to worry about which SAK to carry....it was the Rogueneer :pok: ;)

I'm not even sure if I'll carry an MT when this is over.  I know I don't need much out of one, so I might just carry a PST.

Alright, I am putting an new entry in for the challenge since my Compact is out of action til I get some scales.
I gonna set it up to hard core mode. LOL! It is still a two layer knife.

But it's so prettyyyyyy :o
Yes it is and its a user. I tend to carry it with my Surge so I can have a couple smaller blades.

I haven't had too many updates in this thread, because it's been much of the same.  Tourist is able to open mail/packages, occasional light pry job or flathead screw.  But I've had to keep dedicated pliers, scissors, and bit drivers in various rooms of the house (and the back of my Jeep) to keep up with little daily chores and prepare for what ifs.

For me, this really hasn't been too much of a struggle (I work an IT job from home), but I have missed the fun of picking and choosing what I want to carry.  I have a feeling November will bring a lot of SwissChamp/Super Tool combo days, just because :D

+2, that is a very nice looking knife   It'll be interesting to see how you get by with no tools, though.

I'm also in a similar boat as eddie.  I'm typically pretty minimal any way, EDCing a Pioneer, so the Bantam really isn't much of a challenge.  I do miss options, and alox.  They keep tempting me to the dark side....

Had a faucet come loose here at the farm today. Used the awl on the OC Pioneer to chase the threads, removing the corrosion.

I could probably do the same really....a PST is probably sufficient, especially considering I only really need pliers sometimes.  Although if I were carrying my Compact or Pioneer, I'd carry a more loaded MT.  With the Rogueneer though, I wouldn't need as robust of an MT.  Who are we kidding though?  You'll be carrying your Charge or MUT or Swisstool (I think you have one right?) and I'll be carrying any of mine ;)

You are probably right.   I think my OC red Pioneer will stay as my primary SAK though, but I might (probably) will rotate through my MT's.  I do have a SwissTool, which is a fantastic carry.  God I love that MT. :dd:

Because of the Challenge, I will never, ever, ever give up my large SAKs and Multis again. This challenge showed my just how many times I really use my bigger tools without thinking and just how handy they really are.

I wont swap out to another minimalist option like Spartan, Recruit or Compact as that would add tools to the Waiter I am carrying for this challenge. Dying to mix it up a little I guess.
But this last Wednesday of the month I will swap to the very similarly equipped Wenger Evogrip Blackout 63.

Had a close call this morning, I had to change the batteries in my kids toothbrush, the combo was way too big but the screwdriver in the corkscrew worked when pushed in hard. That is an "aftermarket" addition to the waiter but allowed I think.

Well I had my first fail today while working at our house.  I was hammering some large staples to secure some wire caging, and came to a spot where it was too awkward to hold the staple by hand.  It was at a side angle and I had no choice but to grab my Super tool and use the pliers to hold it while I hammered it in.  So once in 3 weeks I needed the pliers, and I'm glad I had an MT on me.  I would've had to hunt through the chaotic mess in this house to find pliers, and I didn't have time for that :)

Well the Case is doing good just as long I use it for cutting. Oh yeah, I did open a can of greenbeans. Didn't think to get a pic. I make sure I get a pic next time. Luckly, I have been working in the shop, so I had all the tools I needed at hand.

..aaaaaaand I'm out.

I was doing fine until my wife needed help with an earring. I had to bring out SAK pliers to close the clasp.
