MLB Pennant races!

I'm not used to seeing baseball I care about this late in the year, but last night my Mets beat LA to move on to the National League Championship Series against the Chicago Cubs.  Game 1 is tomorrow night. The Mets haven't been to the playoffs since 2006, so I'm enjoying this. :tu:  In the American League, right now the Kansas City Royals are leading the Toronto Blue Jays 3-0 in Game 1 of their series.  Anyone else here a baseball fan? Who do you think is going to win it all?

Big Royals fan here, enjoying my evening!  And yes, I was actually a fan before last season (amazing number of Royals fans coming out of the woodwork this year :) )  I'd be very happy to argue baseball with you in a couple weeks ;)

I'm a Red Sox fan but I am hopping on the Blue Jays bandwagon with the rest of my country!
It has been very exciting.

:D nice answer.  I can't bandwagon.  I've heard some Yankee fans say that they're rooting for the Mets because its an NY team.  I was raised to truly hate only one entity - the New York Yankees.

I remember the Jays winning back to back pennants and the Expos set to take number three to Canada as well..... until a conveniently timed strike.  :P

I hope the Jays take it again, just for the heck of it, although I'm not sure if it should be a National Pride thing as it looks like another instance of our Cubans beating your Hondurans.

I've been a Jays fan for as long as I can remember.  I remember watching them win just like it was yesterday, even though it was MUCH MUCH MUCH longer than that, lol.

I've only been able to see three live games though.  Two Jays, and one Expos.  The first Jays game I saw was just after the strike was over, and they couldn't give tickets away.  It cost us next to nothing to get in! :)

Hey, the Blue Jays finally figured out they were supposed to be playing baseball! ;)  Mets can win the Pennant tonight! :ahhh It's been 15 years since they've done that!

The Cubs played well in most of the games.  The long ball (Murphy) destroyed them, and they were overpowered by the Mets pitching.  Can't wait for Tuesday.  It'll be NY-KC.  Mets in six. ;)
