This is a rather large firestarter, but then it has a few worthwhile features to it that I think is worth the extra size.
As you can see from the above photos, there is an analogue thermometer built into the handle, and a compass on the butt end of the firestarter. The firestarter itself contains a good sized round chunk of magnesium, and a firesteel of good size attached above the magnesium. Included on a string, is a metal scrapper that is attached to the handle. Overall, a very nice design I would like to add that the compass, although not fluid dampened, appeared to be very accurate and responsive to directional changes. In other words, they used a good quality button style compass that functions as it should.
