'14 Stamped Saks

I had a little rugrat born this year and I woud like to get him a '14 stamped SAK. What is the current offering that is date stamped? Also, if I can pick it up at the 20% discount via Tim, that would be even keener!

I do not believe any alox is produced with the 14 stamp.

There are some sweet custom ones though.

They stopped stamping the blades in 2008 when they changed the soldier knife, so unfortunately you won't be able to get a 14 stamp direct from Victorinox.

Perhaps a check in with forum member ALM? On the Ti Electrician model he made for me it has a 14 stamped 93mm soldier blade, but I've no idea if this is something he does, has done, or if it is factory.

I think he said it is something he does. His work is over here.

I am with you on this. Only ones are the soldiers which are slowly starting to show up.
I have my normal dealer keeping a eye out for them. I've seen them available in Switzerland on the website listed so I figure only a mater of time before they show up here.
Or you can order custom from alm but that's all I know of.

Or you can have the birth date engraved on the blade by someone.

Oh, I didn't realise the 111mm soldiers were date stamped!

So yeah, you can get one of those if you like the format.

Yeah, there are the chinese zodiac ones, I can still get the snake ones over here (that would be the one I need for this rugrat, I have a rabbit for his sister). But I think the Soldier is more fitting for a boy!
