A million posts was an incredible milestone for the forum, and I'm really happy we got there, but PLEEEASE don't turn it into another Spamathon  :facepalm: It was horrible  :cry:

I'd personally really rather we reach the next milestone "naturally", and fill the forum with news, views, and healthy conversation rather than inane twaddle to bump the numbers up. The reason this is the best site on the web is because of quality not quantity. It got very difficult to find the good stuff amongst all the "padding" for a while, and I'd hate for us to go through that again. Just my tuppence worth  :salute:

I'll be proud when we hit two million posts, but I'm not expecting it any time soon.

I'm going to guess before our 15th anniversary though. It took 8 years to hit the first million, now that everyone is here we should be able to do it a bit faster!
