Is the small model with camo scales a 65mm Victorinox Delémont Nailclip 580 or 582 model (looks like it is a 580) ?  ???
- ie a Vic version of a former Wenger model? 

If so, What I am saying is that
I have only ever seen those camo scales on the regular Victorinox models (eg 58mm, 91mm) and not on the Delémont models.
(Maybe I am not up to speed with recent product options)

If not, Please ignore the comment completely !!  :o

But you're right Huntsman, those are 65mm camo scales. I've also seen edelweiss scales, ruby, sapphire, etc. in that size.

Wow - The full suite of Vic colours - Pretty sure that was not the case initially for these models.

In the early days we were all wondering how the Delémonts would survive - But it looks like Vic is pretty committed to them - Hey?  ???
Although looks like they dropped (or never started) the EvoGrip versions of these models

Thank you very much. That tip does look rather sad, however it was broken by my grandfather so I’m leaving it as is for sentimental reasons.

The awl lost it’s tip as well and has been reprofiled. Also there is either a crack in a liner around a pin or one of the backsprings has been weakened. The Tinker has been well used and is semi retired now. I will cherish it forever for all the memories attached to it.

Ok thanks for clarifying Huntsman, now I get it!  Yes, it is a 580 with the Wenger style scissors. As Reinier mentioned, there is a very wide variety of scales, even from the Vic Canada site. It doesn’t have a whole lot of scale selection even for the 91 mm, most of them just come in red.

The alox pair is my usual leaving home EDC.
Executive is my usual, throw it in a PJs pocket, stay at home EDC.
