I, Dunc, being of relatively sound mind and body, hereby entreat the powers that be to consider me for membership in good standing in the Swiss Army Knights and promise to place no knife before my trusty Swiss Army till rust do us part.

Wow five years and 3 days since I got my Knighthood, that sure went quick

I was a huge MacGyver fan as a child and when I saw my Scout Leader's Champion, I thought it was the coolest thing I ever seen, although my dad would not let me get one. Forward 20+ years when my daily use of modern/tactical folders yielded in an obsession with Boy Scout knives after inheriting a 1950s Ulster from an uncle. Then watching MacGyver rekindled my desire for that once unobtainable Champion and I immediately went off the deep end and within a week went from zero to 6 SAKs, modding my first Swisschamp immediately.

My daily driver is my Evogrip 18, IMO the perfect blend of Vic/Wenger tools. I am now working towards creating an 84mm "Pocket Champ".

TL;DR: Me like SAKs. Me cool?

Arise Sir Petey,

Thou  truly art a worthy member of our Holy Order - From apprentice as a child to bold full grown knight.

We see thou art also a swordsmith
Pray, share with us thy changes to that most mighty sword the Champ.
And what plans hast thou for thy smaller version.

We also highly approve of the sword that thou keepest by thy side every day.

Welcome Sir Knight

I’m with you on the Evo18, great SAK, and have one in yellow too, although switch up what I carry constantly. Evo14 is also excellent when you don’t need a saw.

I love the mix of Wenger/Victorinox tools as the Vic can opener is superior having the driver tip, but I prefer the spring design of the Wenger scissors. I have since realized I would prefer the 17 with a corkscrew instead of backsprung Phillips, for untying knots and storing a tinder pellet. To me the Evogrip series is the best of both worlds. I am working on building an 84mm Craftsman hybrid.

Hello Franlklin

Great pedigree and wonderful EDCs ......... However.......

Who wants to be a Swiss Army Knight? ....  then everyone will know your dedication to the Swiss Army Knights!
How do you get one? Simple - Declare your dedication to the Swiss Army Knights by reciting The Oath and posting a photo of your EDC SAK.
............

I make this post quite frequently :o    ;)

Tried to post picture before.  Here goes.
Your attachment couldn't be saved. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow.

Are you OK to resize it?

Needs to be at your end - The check comes in at the point of upload to MTo - Unfortunately there is no auto compress - as part of the upload

Certainly iphone images are massive!!
So there maybe an option on your phone to compress the image
Or you could go via a PC/laptop etc  and compress there

There is a thread in the break room or site board about uploading and compressing images

If you get really stuck PM me and we could do it another way!
