Hi all. I'm new here but everyone loves a banner so I hope I can qualify.
Although I'm new to the forum, I'm not new to SAKs. I found this place trying to get a date for my original Huntsman, which thanks to the fantastic resources here I have narrowed down to around 1991, which makes sense to me. Hope I can contribute a bit now I've found the place.

Anyway...

Tough question as they all have certain benefits and it does depend on what I'm doing, but the honest answer is that over the last year by far the most often carried is the white Classic SD.
Why?
Because it's so inoffensive when you use it in public and yet it's still a very capable tool. Surprisingly so given it looks like a toy!

Very banner-worthy! :tu: I see the Cellidor 84mm (I think) in the bottom row has the cross on the reverse scale. Does it have a logo on the other side?

Yes, it does. 'Stenhoj', a Danish garage equipment company. I believe it's a Tourist model. Not sure how old but pre-'91 I think judging by the blade stamps and the corkscrew. I can get some pics if anyone is interested.

This is 1 of only 2 of my SAKs that I didn't buy new. This one belonged to my Grans partner and I got it after he died. He used to live in Shetland so I'm not sure if that's where the Danish connection comes in?  :dunno:

    Nice photos.  I see ads from all over the world on SAKs.  Hard to figure how they got where they are.  I am a little puzzled about why you haven't gotten your banner yet. 
     Perhaps you should try writing down the oath again and putting a photo of the nice white Classic that is your EDC swiss army knife in the same post.  Since you told us that was your usual SAK carry (and a good sensible and cute one.)  That is a strict reading of the requirements.  See if that trips the switch.  I thought about saying this in a PM, but decided to be open about it.  Give it a shot.  Best wishes.  Gary
